Man, is this ever one of those songs where the lyrics cut close to home. Not in a bad way, but eerie just the same. I was eighteen when this song came out, but I didn’t get turned onto it unto a few years later by some cat who grew up in Chicago that I met at community college.
It is – as all great songs are – the story of my life.
